MLK Winter Tea & Luncheon Event
This Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, join us for a Tribute Winter Tea & Luncheon to discuss and implement Dr. King’s ideas around Access to Justice.
Today, socio-economic class is a huge factor in the disparate treatment of Americans. The issue is made conspicuous by the different effects of inflation. The upper class has barely noticed inflation while working families must pinch their pennies to pay for food and shelter. We’ll look to dr. King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail for insight into modern ways to use the legal system to empower and enfranchise the masses.
Ultimately, Dr. King was about action; so, we’ll donate a business development training scholarship to an attorney who provides affordable legal services to middle-and-lower-income families and small businesses. Interested lawyers should complete the short entry form.
We’ll also have a great time complete with all the pomp and circumstance attendant to a Winter Tea: gourmet food, fine wine, snazzy attire. You won’t want to miss it!
This free event is by invitation only. If you have not received an invitation it’s because I don’t know you’d like to attend. You may request an invite by emailing email@example.com. Click to download the event program.
Law firms may donate their excess e-learning seats to our drawing. Donations help meet the legal profession’s obligation to make legal services available to all communities.
